“A state lawmaker wants to ban plastic bags at the checkout counter of all grocery stores in Oregon. Senator Mark Hass (D-Beaverton) SB 1009 which would allow stores to offer only paper and reusable bags for customers. Hass admits the bill may not pass during a shortened February legislative session, but wants further discussion.”
